Introduction: We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. As a WordPress Developer at IDSCC, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality for WordPress websites.
- Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability.
- Managing all technical aspects of the CMS, including scaling and security.
- Collaborating with design teams to ensure visual coherence and user-friendly navigation.
- Customizing WordPress themes and plugins based on requirements.
- Optimizing website performance for maximum speed and scalability.
- Providing technical support and instruction to team members and clients.
- Maintaining well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code.
- Ensuring high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
- Staying informed of new developments in WordPress, PHP, and other relevant technologies.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with e-commerce, SEO, and advanced analytics.
- Knowledge of WordPress network (multisite) beneficial.
